Grafton, Ohio, situated in Lorain County (adjacent to Lake Erie), is a great place to call home. Besides our quick access to the lake shores, we have great access to major highways and thoroughfares. U.S. Routes 20/10 are just an eight minute drive, while Interstates 80 & 480 are a 13 minute drive.  Interstates 80/90, 480, 71, 76, 77, and 271 can all be reached in less than 30 minutes.  These avenues make everything close at hand.  The Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport is estimated as a 38 minute drive; while cities such as Lansing, Michigan; Cincinnati, Ohio; Parkersburg, West Virginia; and Buffalo, New York can all be driven in less than 4 hours.

Besides small town, peaceful living with easy commute to metropolitan areas, we offer municipally-owned utilities – water, sewer, and electric; as well as curbside recycling. Grafton is proud of its parks – North Park, Willow Park, Reservoir Park, Water Tower Park and Metro Parks. Together they provide a picnic shelter, restrooms, playground equipment, basketball court, baseball diamond, and a community center. 

Our village has an excellent school system in The Midview Schools. Oberlin College can be reached in less than 20 minutes; and the Ohio State University Extension of Lorain County offers a variety of educational programs.
