AMP members offer local economic development services to help businesses grow and specialty services to help businesses utilize their energy more efficiently. Among the services you will find within our public power partner communities are:
Economic Development Services: Start with a proactive, progressive local government, working to help existing business grow. Business appreciation lunches and business retention & expansion surveys help members keep their fingers on the pulse of existing business needs. When it comes time to administer assistance, you’ll find an assortment of remedies including: assistance in submitting zoning and building permit applications, orchestrating expanding workforce training resources and implementing timely access to infrastructure expansions including electric, broadband and telecommunications.
Direct Connections: This key account service provides large business and industry with a customer advocate that communicates and periodically meets with VIP customers to assist them with periodic rate analysis, electric load monitoring, energy audits and other cost reduction services.
Efficiency Smart: This energy efficiency service delivers technical consultation services to assist businesses with keeping their energy costs low through the use of more energy efficient equipment paid, in part, by energy efficiency incentives.For more information, click here.
