Be Seen in Bowling Green!

Bowling Green—the locals call it “BG”—is a beautiful city located in Northwest Ohio. In fact, it’s the county seat of Wood County—courthouse and all! Bowling Green was settled in 1832, and has a rich history of commerce and values.

The quality of life in Bowling Green is second to none. There’s a full-functioning hospital, outstanding public schools, several private schools, historic houses and a nurturing environment for business.

Bowling Green has a vibrant downtown scene, with more than fifty local businesses thriving on the local community. The safe streets of downtown BG are home to several annual festivals as well, including the beloved Black Swamp Arts Festival.

Bowling Green is home to Bowling Green State University (BGSU), a state school with more than 22,000 students enrolled. BGSU is nationally recognized for its award-winning first-year programs and its student learning communities.
