These thoroughfares make the metropolitan areas of Philadelphia, Scranton, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; New York City, New York; and Trenton, New Jersey, accessible in less than two hours. While the Quakertown Airport accepts charter flights, the Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown can be reached in less than 30 minutes, and the Philadelphia International Airport in approximately one hour.

Students attend Quakertown Community Schools or may choose a private or parochial school through grade 8. Upon graduation, one may opt to further their education close to home. DeSales University, Bucks County Community College, and Penn State Lehigh Valley can all be driven to within 15 minutes.

Amongst our park and recreational system, we provide pavilions, basketball and tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, jogging path, bike path, skate park, skating pond, playground, street hockey, and a swimming pool. Concerts are also held in Memorial Park.
